WoW Leveling Guide

Virtually every World of Warcraft player has wondered, with or without a WoW leveling guide, about the fastest way to level a character at some point and right now the fastest way to do it is by leveling with the dungeon finder.  Blizzard added the dungeon finder with patch 3.3, and it’s so much more than just a way for level 80 characters to find groups more easily.  Dungeon leveling is now the fastest way to level in the game, and any WoW player who doesn’t admit this is missing out on a whole lot of experience in a short amount of time.

There are so many benefits to dungeon leveling that you really can’t afford to learn how to do it.  Just think for a moment about your average gameplay time.  How much of it is spent running around town, grabbing quests, and trying to figure out where to go next?  By instance leveling instead of solo questing, you get the fastest experience gain per hour.  Let’s take a look at exactly how you gain more experience through dungeon leveling.

Dungeon Finder tips – WoW Leveling Guide

As mentioned earlier, solo questing involves a lot of down time while you’re trying to figure out where to go next.  When you level with the dungeon finder, you kill creatures non-stop and take on a new mob every minute or so.   You don’t spend time travelling from place to place and mob to mob.  Instead, your time spent instance leveling in the dungeons gets you more kills on average per second.  More kills equals more experience, so you can see just why dungeon leveling will get you to level 80 faster on this basic level. The WoW Leveling Guide shows more on this.

Also there is power in numbers, and the only way to harness this power is by leveling with the dungeon finder.  You’ll find power leveling your character to be much easier by using the dungeon finder, especially if you’re a clothie or other somewhat squishy character.  All World of Warcraft players know that dying frequently and having to run back to your corpse is very time-consuming, especially at the low levels, and instance leveling is the perfect solution for this problem too.  By leveling in a group, you’ll probably spend a lot less time being dead and running back to get your corpse.  Less time spent dead means more kills, more experience, and hitting every single level faster than you would have if you were power leveling on your own through the solo quests.

Wow Leveling Guide – Dungeon bonus

Another added bonus to dungeon leveling is the added experience and bonuses you get from killing elite monsters.  Of course there’s no way you would be able to take on an elite creature by yourself, and instance leveling allows you to do this easily and efficiently, mopping up a ton of extra experience from each elite kill.  Elite monsters also drop unique items that are sure to make your power leveling experience even easier.  The better gear you have, the easier even solo questing will become.  Can you really afford not to use the dungeon finder? Just like a WoW leveling guide it could really help your game.

The unit of videogames of the Vivendi, that already it was a deficitary business for the French group of media, enjoys currently of one of the biggest edges of profit of the industry thanks to a game: World of Warcraft.

The world of warcraft game congregated more than 10 million users since its launching in 2004 and the president of the Vivendi Games, Rene Penisson, says that she created a new market for the company and the industry as a whole. “I believe that a great market is opening”, said Penisson to the Reuters, in interview after the presentation of annual results of the group. “it is changing the way as the people play videogames.”

The French rival of the Vivendi, Infogrames, that controls the Atari in the United States, affirmed this month that the games online will be the engine of growth of the industry and will compose one room of all the games of the industry in three years. World of Warcraft is a game in which the users makes friends and enemies in a virtual world formed by druids, goblins and fairies, and some times find its soul-twin in the real life. Passed year, the package of expansion “The Burning Crusade” surpassed expectations of sales and the Vivendi waited that the same happens with the package for the game, “Wrath of the Lich King”, that it will be launched in the semester of this year.

Between 2003 and 2007, the Vivendi Games doubled its invoicing for more than 1 billion of euros (1,52 billions of dollar) and transformed an operational damage of about 200 million euros into a profit of 181 million. “World of Warcraft has been the essential element that it transformed the Vivendi Games”, said Penisson. If the Vivendi Games did not have a so popular title, the company never would have obtained the affection of the Activision, the producer behind the successes as “Guitar Hero” and which the French group closed a partnership of 18 billion dollar in December of the passed year, Penisson said. The Vivendi Games will have between 52 68 percent of the agreed company Activision Blizzard, depending on the result of offers of action.

For 2009, the Vivendi Games foresaw invoicing agreed of 4,3 billion dollar, operational profit of 1,1 billion of dollar.

Penisson will be the director of the new company. “the combination of the two company creates a bonanza group in terms of portfolio of products and development potential”, said it.

It may sound incredible that video games can establish an effective economy, with its own currency and value. This is what it’s happening with World of Warcraft. This is a so called MMORPG, Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game.

It is a virtual world in which various characters interact each other, everyone representing a player. In order to buy items, services and various goods the player needs virtual gold, that is the currency of the WoW world.

The World of Warcraft phenomenon might be affecting people in a more subtle way than we think. Yes, there have been some cases of dearth (allegedly) caused by over-exposure to WoW, but what’s even more disturbing is that people are beginning to spend important amounts of money for this game.

Actually, the main source to earn World of Warcraft gold is undertaking quests and interacting with the other characters (human and non human). Anyway, on the Internet there are many sellers of WoW gold, willing to give a player the desired amount in exchange of real money. For instance, there are online auctions or websites devoted to gold trading such as http://www.igxp.com Real WoW addicts love those kind of transactions, because they want to improve their character, equipping it with new weapons, buying skills and more.

However, now there is an alternative way to obtain World of Warcraft Gold, that doesn’t require any form of payment. And in order to find out what this alternative offers, go to http://www.gold-world-of-warcraft.com You’re sure to make some economies, by following the advice from the website.

World of Warcraft stands as the greatest game in the popular Warcraft series

World of Warcraft has been an extraordinary success since its launch in November 2004. It has impressed game critics and has captivated millions of players, who adore the world that the game has created. It is no longer just a game but is now a genuine phenomenon, and one that shows no signs of abating. It is one of the key games of recent times, and stands as a landmark title for online gaming.

World of Warcraft’s appeal lies in that it has created a truly engaging online world. This massively multiplayer online role-playing game is set in the world of Azeroth, a fantastic land that is filled with heroes and monsters and many other creatures. The game’s strength is that it functions as an experience, as a world that exists on its own terms that you may visit and explore as you please.

World of Warcraft is the 4th title in the series of Warcraft games, which have been entertaining people for over a decade. The series began in 1994 with the game Warcraft: Orcs and Humans, a real time strategy game set in Azeroth. This was a fine title, and a good introduction to the series, but in truth the franchise was just getting started. The best was still to come.

Indeed, it wasn’t until 1995 and the release of the second game, Warcraft 2: Tides of Darkness, that the series really found its voice. Warcraft 2 was a masterpiece, and it improved on the original in every sense. The game had beautiful graphics, epic storytelling and fascinating, absorbing gameplay. The high standards of the series continued in 2002, with the release of Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos. This was another classic and a remarkable game in its own right. The predecessors of World of Warcraft were all superb.

Blizzard Entertainment published all of the Warcraft titles, and the games attracted a huge following. When Blizzard announced that there was going to be a 4th game in the series, it was natural that people were interested. This interest intensified when it emerged that the new Warcraft title was going to be an online multiplayer game. World of Warcraft would make Azeroth more interactive and redefine it as an experience.

The fans of the series had high expectations for World of Warcraft, as it promised to be a terrific and innovative new title. Blizzard held a beta test for the game in March 2004, and gave selected players a preview. Those who played it were very impressed and it received great reviews. The anticipation for the game’s release grew stronger as 2004 went on.

World of Warcraft was officially launched in North America on Tuesday the 23rd of November 2004. It was well received by critics. The launch was a major success, and it achieved huge sales on its first day of release. Blizzard estimated that 240,000 copies were sold in the first day alone. These were record numbers for a game of this genre and so World of Warcraft became the fastest-selling online game in history. It was a smash hit.

World of Warcraft sustained this success; in fact, the popularity of the game began to snowball. It really took off and caught the public imagination, with more and more people becoming enthralled with it. 2005 saw the game explode into a global obsession. In February it was launched in Europe and in June it was launched in China, with other countries following suit. It proved hugely popular everywhere it was released, and by 2005’s close it had more than five million subscribers worldwide.

World of Warcraft has evolved since its initial release. There have been a number of updates for the game, and the universe of Azeroth has grown. Blizzard have made improvements, fixed any problems, and have worked to make the game user-friendly. They have also expanded the game, by adding sections like Blackwing Lair, for example, the dungeon lair of Nefarion, one of the villains in the game.

In June 2005, Blizzard added major player versus player content in the form of two special battlegrounds, Alterac Valley and Warsong Gulch. Alterac Valley allows players to engage in battles of 40 on 40 people, while Warsong Gulch offers new challenges, like stealing your opponent’s flag from their camp. These battlegrounds are the most substantial update to World of Warcraft since it was released.

Now, in 2006, World of Warcraft is as popular as ever. An expansion, titled The Burning Crusade, is set for release this year, and should expand the world of Azeroth even further. World of Warcraft has become the pinnacle of the Warcraft series, and is a magnificent and distinctive game.

Grinding for gold is the most basic and most common form of gold farming. Since this is the most basic form of gold farming it does get a lot of attention from all sorts of players. However most players never end up grinding out the amount of gold they should. It’s very easy to farm up to 250g/hour now with the Burning Crusade. The mobs drop a lot more coin and the items that drop vendor for a higher price.

On top of this you will be getting greens, blues and epics that will be selling for an even larger price than before. You can sell your items for a lot more gold because the average drop rates coin itself has been increased. This means there are a lot more players out there with money to throw around.

Knowing the correct places to farm and knowing how to farm are key assets when it comes to playing World of Warcraft effectively. Many players make minor mistakes when it comes to farming and it puts them far behind the rest of the competition.

Downtime is one of the most major mistakes players make when grinding gold.Downtime is the amount of time during grinding that you spend NOT killing other mobs. This includes running to the next mob, sitting for a drink, chatting to your friends, not chain-casting your next spell (casting the spell as soon as it’s available) all of these things will drop your gold per hour rate. The most common downtime is sitting down to eat or drink.

Every time you take a seat to drink or eat, you are knocking anywhere between 15-30 seconds off of your killing time. Let’s say you can kill 5 mobs in a row without having to sit and drink or eat. That means, everytime you kill 100 mobs you are spending 10 minutes on your butt. That’s a pretty large amount of time, and most classes can’t even make it 5 mobs with some of the specs.

So next time you go out grinding, remember that downtime is a key penalty to the gold rate you pull in. You can easily double your gold rate over night by choosing the right spec for your character.

Arcanist Doan in Scarlet Monastery is a well rewarding boss. He drops some very nice loot that you can probably use or sell if you prefer. Hypnotic Blade sells for 1 gold 27 silver, Illusionary Rod for 1 gold 59 silver, Robe of Doan for 40 silver and Mantle of Doan for 30s. Arcanist Doan is a level 37 boss located in the far right SM instance. Would be an ideal mob if you are level 40 rogue, thus you can just stealth your way in.

Arcanist Doan is immune to cheat, you can start by using Ambush or Garrote. He castes Arcane Explosion often which hits for about 200 damage. Be sure to have alot of hit points. When his hit point reaches 50% he’ll put up a blue barrier and charges up Detonation. It hits for a whooping 800 damage, be sure to run to the other side of the room otherwise you’re going to get hit hard. To avoid this, engage the fight while he walks to a corner of the room. You will have around 5 seconds to jet to the other side before getting hit. An important part during this portion is to use first aid while he’s busy casting Detonation. Once he’s done casting run around for your first aid to finish up healing before charging at him again. Now just charge back at him and finish up until he dies, use a potion if needed. He will drop 2 of the 4 items mentioned above. It’s 2 gold per around which takes about 5 minutes. That’s 24 gold per hour.

Now just hack at him, use a potion if needed, until he dies. He’ll drop 2 items: a Hypnotic Blade/Illusionary Rod And Mantle of Doan/Robe of Doan. Goes for about 2 gold pieces per kill. It takes about 5 minutes for this whole sequence. So now we wait an hour for the instance to repop? NO! Here’s a neat trick. Make sure you have a bot or a friend in group with you. He can be anywhere on the other continent if he wants. After you kill Doan and come out of the instance, have him make you party leader, then he leaves group and invites you again. The instance is reset with a new Arcanist Doan. I can easily average about 20 gold per hour.

Leveling in World of Warcraft can be very time come summing and at sometimes difficult. Spending hours playing the game just of for a couple levels a day may be getting you frustrated. So you may consider just buying your levels from a power leveling service. But lets see if buying your way to level 70 is really wroth it.

First let s take a look at buying your way to level 70 in World of Warcraft. So you load up Google at do a search for world of warcraft leveling service or some other relative keyword. After search around for the cheapest power leveling service you select one that you like. The next step would be to make sure that the wow leveling service is real; after all you don t want to pay for a service that s just going to take your money. After researching the company and you feel comfortable with there service. You decide to place and order. And that s that, so what are some pros and cons of buying power leveling service.

Some pros are that you don t have to work for the level; you hired someone to level for you, also the person that is leveling your character is a professional game. The pro gamer may know more tricks and secrets about World of Warcraft they you. Another pro is you could order at night then go to sleep and wake up 15+ more levels higher. It s like having your cake and eating it to.

But there are some cons that go with buying your Warcraft levels. Since you are not the one actually doing the leveling your not getting the game experience, so when your are level 70 and your in a party, you may not be a effective party member do to your lack of game experience. The biggest reason that you really shouldn t buy your levels is, you have to give out your login in name and password and what server you re on. I never recommend give out this personal information do to the fact that its link to a credit or debit card. The last disadvantage of buying a warcraft leveling service is that there not all are legit. There are a lot of so called leveling services that are just out to steal credit card numbers and/or warcraft login accounts. That s why if your considering buying from a leveling service, you have to do your research on that company.

So is there a way to quickly wow power level yourself, so you don t have to worry about some of the cons that I listed above. Well the answer in short is yes, you can learn the secrets that the professional gamers use when you buy a wow leveling service. After all if it works for the people that are leveling your character then it has to work for you. There are several World of Warcraft power leveling guides. But the top one has to be Brains Kopps 1-60, 60-70 power leveling guide. In this guide it teaches you the secrets of power leveling in warcraft, the ones that the pro gamers use. By power leveling this way you are not only are you getting the gaming experience you are quickly leveling your wow character. Also, since you are not giving out your account information you don t have to worry about credit card fraud or someone stealing your account. This is a big plus for me.

So in closing, what I m saying is if you want something done right, then you re going to have to do it yourself. Power leveling guides gives you all of the benefits of a leveling service with none of the disadvantages.

Since the late 90s, when EverQuest took online gaming into a new light, massively multiplayer online role playing games (MMORPGs) have been steadily gaining popularity. World of Warcraft became an instant success when it was launched in November 2004 and currently has more than half the market of the MMORPG genre with over 7.5 million players worldwide.

The way you play World of Warcraft or WoW, is you create a character either on the Alliance or Horde faction, which are enemies. You choose your race and class in typical RPG style, such as a gnomish magician or undead warlock. Some classes can only be played on one faction but that is changing when The Burning Crusade expansion is released this January.

Once your character is introduced into the world of Azeroth (the name of the game world) you gain experience and levels by killing mobs (non-player character enemies) and completing quests. Quests can be aquired from various sources, such as NPCs or by finding certain items. Quests usually give a nice amount of experience and often useful items so leveling is faster if you do quests as much as you can.

Items and armor are major parts of playing WoW. Along with a character’s level, the gear he or she is wearing and using is a sort of status symbol. Lower level players stare in awe at a maximum level character decked out in dazzling suits of armor. Armor and other items are found on mobs, given out in quests or obtained in a group or raid instance.

Grouping is a major part of playing World of Warcraft. Soloing all the way to the maximum level of 60 (70 with The Burning Crusade) is entirely possible but grouping has many advantages. A good group can accomplish a lot more than a single player can.

Killing mobs over and over for experience, or grinding as it is referred to, can be easier and faster with a group of people. Questing can also be faster when the whole group finishes a quest in a single step, whereas the solo player had to do that step by him or herself. Instances, for example, which are places where players enter their own private dungeon, often require a group or even a raid.

Raiding is where things get really exciting. Some instances require many players to crawl through and clear out and have boss mobs that are impossible to kill by one player. Up to 40 players, usually all in the same guild, have to strategize to find a way to defeat a particular high-end boss mob.

World of Warcraft even has its own economy where items are bought and sold in Auction Houses. These items are valuable to players, so some people pay a lot of in-game money or gold for them. Players have taken this economy into the real world by selling gold to other players for real currency and some people even sell whole WoW accounts.

Blizzard isn’t too fond of this whole idea but they don’t try to crack down on it much. Some players spend their time on WoW by farming (killing mobs solely for the purpose of making money) and end up making a decent amount of real money.

Article Body:

Only a few days after Ebay kicked all of the sellers auctioning virtual goods, including World of Warcraft gold, off their auction site, Blizzard decided they needed to take some action as well to stem the flow of real money trading for virtual goods.

This comes upon the heels of Blizzard’s wide-scale actions last year when they banned close to 60,000 World of Warcraft accounts for terms of service violations. This year it is going to be the gold farmers who are on the run. Blizzard recently announced in their forums that they have “filed a federal lawsuit against the operators of Peons4hire, a popular gold-selling organization. As part of the lawsuit, the operators of Peons4hire have been asked to immediately cease all in-game spamming efforts by all entities and websites under their control.”

Since these gold farmers use bots to spam other users within the game, they are very disruptive to other Warcraft players, especially if you are trying to do some grinding or gold farming on your own. In addition, real money transfers for virtual goods is not in the spirit of WoW game-play as it gives players with more disposable income unfair advantages in the game.

Thankfully, since the release of Blizzard’s spam filters, a lot of the worst spam has stopped, but it will take a lot more diligence on Blizzard’s part to finally put the trade in real money for gold to bed. This first round of cease and desist orders, though, is a step in the right direction. Combined with Ebay’s actions, this should go a long way to level the playing field for players who want to just enjoy the game without spending hundreds of dollars just to keep up with other players. It is definitely an excellent first move and it will be interesting to see how they follow-up.

Many World of Warcraft players today likes to buy WoW gold, items, accounts and power leveling sessions, but blizzard along with other players consider this an act of cheating. Well, you have the ability to enhance your character to a much higher level or better quality items, weapons, armors and other equipment with real money. It’s unfair for those players who does not have the extra cash to spare or would prefer to play it the old fashion way. But for example, we all know what Nintendo is right? Well when game shark came out did Nintendo try to stop or prevent them from selling? No, they didn’t. But of course, for those who chose to cheat the game was not required to play with others that didn’t want to cheat. So that is one conclusion as to why players and Blizzard does not approve of selling or buying gold.

Disruption from Warcraft gold farmers. Yes I’m sure we’ve all experienced that farming now a days have been a little difficult due to the overwhelming population of WoW gold farmers. If gold wasn’t able to be sold using real money the farmers wouldn’t exist and players would probably be able to enjoy the game more. Perhaps blizzard should enforce a law to farming? Or allow players to tag a mob and allow them preparation time to kill the mob they were targeting? Well, Blizzard is not a government and even if so, the government today isn’t perfect either.

Another reason why I can understand players hate the idea of buying/selling gold is because it disrupts the economy. If there is excess gold, then the value of gold drops and the value of the item will rise causing players to spend more gold on the item than what they would normally need to pay. Basic economics 101, inflation and deflation. A player can only farm an X amount of gold over a given period of time. The more gold there is, the more the item will cost, the more a player will have to farm unless they purchase the gold of course.

Well with all these problems involving selling gold, why hasn’t Blizzard done something? I believe they probably are working on a solution but believe it not, farmers do make up about 30% of their population. Somewhere in the back of their mind I’m sure they don’t want to get rid of all subscribers. What they do instead is ban a few at a time and they would be required to buy a new world of warcraft cd key. Extra cash flow for the mighty O Blizzard. Yes farmers and sellers do get their accounts banned. But have not heard of any buyers getting banned however. Lucky for us?

As some of you may know, another popular mmorpg publisher is Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) with their many leading titles including the first MMORPG hit EverQuest, Star Wars Galaxies, and EverQuest 2. Why am I bringing up SOE? Because they have introduced the Sony Exchange. The Sony Exchange is a secure market place for players to auction their currencies and items to other players for real cash. In return SOE of course takes in a small fee for themselves. Charming isn’t it? Well along with this new innovative idea, they also of plans of releasing a new game where they will be selling currencies and items themselves. That pretty much just beats the second paragraph of not cheating. But of course I’m sure they will create specific servers where the purchasing/selling of virtual assets will not be allowed.

If SOE is getting into the secondary market why can’t the players? I do wonder if Blizzard should decide to get into the secondary market themselves. Believe it or not, but World of Warcraft subscriber base more than quadruples what SOE has in total. As you can see SOE is accepting the new trend and making a huge load of profit, I’m sure Blizzard would follow up on the idea as well. EverQuest was the first mmorpg hit ever, Blizzard known for their real time strategy games now has the most popular mmorpg as well. I wouldn’t see why they won’t follow and collect some of the cash themselves. Overall, although we do not know of Blizzards intentions for those who buys WoW gold, I can say for sure that I do not know a single person who has gotten their accounts banned for buying WoW gold. Please understand that this article is only a matter of opinion and I hold no responsiblity to your actions. If you are interested in purchasing wow gold, visit http://www.buyingwowgold.com.

The Job of the Warrior is to get relentlessly beat upon. While there are a handful of classes in World of Warcraft that have the capability to tank, the Warrior stands above them all with more talents, abilities and equipment geared for the role. In a group setting, if the warrior dies first, they died knowing they did their job to the best of their abilities. Some players are better at holding the agro from the monsters than others, but it’s a common adage that effective tanking is 10% gear, 10% talent build and 80% skill.

A large part of effective tanking is outside the hands of the warrior. One common fallacy held by the players of World of Warcraft is that if a tank loses control of a monster, he’s a bad tank. While this very well could be true, the case could actually be quite the opposite. There is a limited number of things a Warrior can do to generate threat on a creature. Assuming that the skill, talents build are in place and the gear collected, he can build a lot of threat. There is an upper limit to the threat obtainable. When a character is assigned to tank, he will not be generating the majority of his threat from dealing damage to a target. Outside of the Warrior class, dealing damage is the best way to increase threat on a monster. Over a period of time, the threat from damage caused by another character can overcome the threat generated by the tank. In such a situation, as long as the warrior was using all his abilities to their maximum effectiveness, there’s nothing else he could have done to keep the focus of the enemy. A party who knows this, and can manage their own threat makes the tanks life that much easier. At lower levels, the group tends to blame the tank if he loses control of the monster. In the end game forty man instances, the smart groups tend to blame the player who pulled the target for not managing his own threat.

Warriors are very dependant on the sort of gear they use. If the goal is to play the higher intensity raid instances, a lot of time will be spent gathering up the equipment. For a tank, there are three main things to look at while gathering gear: Stamina, Armor Rating, and Defense. Stamina gives the character ten hit points per point. That may not seem like a lot, but just like pennies in a piggy back, it starts adding up. Armor Rating lowers the incoming damage percentage. Defense ups the skill of the same name, and lowers the chance that enemies will critically hit the tank by a percentage point for every twenty five points of defense. Thankfully, World of Warcraft offers many different dungeons to crawl in order to gather equipment with all of these perks. On epic pieces of armor, players will find bonuses to blocking skill or dodge percentages, and those are nice too, but those will only come after time spent tanking. There will be a long time when the characters will be relying on uncommon and rare equipment that is much easier to obtain.

Of the 51 talent points World of Warcraft offers its players, eighteen of those should be dedicated to the protection tree. For a tank to excel at his job, it is in his best interest to send points on the talents Defiance, Toughness and Last Stand. Neither five point talent on the first tier of talents a warrior can access truly outdoes the other, one raises the chance to block with a shield, the other raises the characters natural defense. Both are good options, yet not required for optimum tanking. On the second tier, five points in Toughness gives you ten percent more armor contribution, and at the high armor ratings a warrior can achieve this talent can decrease all incoming damage by up to five percent. Also on tier two is the Improved Bloodrage talent. This two point talent is useful, but not required to tank. It is required to gain access to the tier three talent Last Stand. Last stand increases the warriors current and maximum hit points by thirty percent for twenty seconds, great for the times when that heal is coming just a second too late. Lastly, the Defiance talent raises the threat generated by the warrior by fifteen percent. Without all these talents, the warrior is not able to tank to the best of the class’s ability.

The gear is in place, the talent build is good, but the most important thing to tank effectively is the skill. Its not hard to tank. It just takes knowledge. Sunder Armor is the staple of every tanks retinue. It is the most efficient way to gather rage early in a fight, and it makes the enemy easier to kill by lowering its armor rating. Another ability widely used is Heroic Strike. Some tanks use these two abilities and they manage to control the monster. In a prolonged fight, this will not be enough. There are three abilities other than sunder armor that allow the tank to gain as much agro as possible. Shield block, while not an threat generating ability in itself, it guarantees a block, which in turn allows the tank to use the Revenge ability. Revenge is the lowest cost and highest threat generating ability in the game. Finally, Shield Bash, a high threat producing ability used primarily to stop a spell caster from casting can be used liberally on non-magical foes to generate high amounts of threat. Each of these abilities should be used when they are cooled down and available. Once the basics of tanking are understood, each individual player can add their own flavor to the game and improve on their own abilities.

Instance leveling is the best way to power level your World of Warcraft character, and the new dungeon finder system makes it very easy. All you have to do is queue up for a random instance, and the dungeon finder will do all the work of locating a group for you. What makes the dungeon finder even better is that it pulls players from all the servers in your server group, which limits the amount of time spent waiting for a group.

Of course one of the things players are usually wondering about is which ones are the best instances by level. It’s just as easy to queue for specific instances, and sometimes you might have to choose a specific one instead of a random one in order to get the one you want. Here’s a quick rundown of the best instances by level for the Burning Crusade part of the game.

Levels 58-61: Hellfire Ramparts – You can queue for Hellfire Ramparts as early as level 58, and the amount of experience you’ll get from being in a Burning Crusade dungeon at level 58 is well worth it. However, you will have to complete several pre-requisite quests before you can queue for Hellfire Ramparts. Check your instance leveling guide to find out about those pre-requisites.

Levels 61-63: Blood Furnace – When you reach level 61, you may land in the Blood Furnace as part of random instance leveling, but you will have to complete the pre-requisite quests in order to be eligible for the quests that can be done inside Blood Furnace.

Levels 63-63: Slave Pens and Underbog – These two parts of the Coilfang Reservoir look a lot alike once you’re in them, and you probably won’t do too many runs through them before you’re on to the Mana Tombs

Levels 64-66: Mana-Tombs – Characters that use mana will be slightly annoyed with the Mana-Tombs because there just never seems to be enough mana available. However, the gear bonuses make this one worthwhile.

Levels 66-68: Auchenai Crypts, Sethekk Halls, The Steamvault: Auchenai Crypts and Sethekk Halls continue the storyline of Auchindoun, right after Mana-Tombs, and the Steamvault will take you back to the Coilfang Reservoir. Any combination of these three quests will do.

Levels 68-70: As soon as you reach level 68, it’s time to head to Northrend. Technically, the Burning Crusade doesn’t end until level 70, but you can enter Northrend at level 68. The reason you will want to finish up your last two Burning Crusade levels by instance leveling in Northrend is because of how fast you will earn those last two levels. Instance leveling in Northrend for levels 68-70 is much faster than finishing up in the Burning Crusade instances, mainly because the monsters you’re killing are several levels higher than you are. However, being in a group with four other people will certainly make it doable, even for squishy classes like mages and priests.

Everyone who has played World of Warcraft asks themselves at some point, “Isn’t there a faster way to level?” The answer to that question is instance leveling, but the benefits don’t stop at the ability to level your toons faster. There are many other benefits that you will never experience if you don’t try your hand at instance leveling.

Better Gear

One of the most subtle benefits of instance leveling is the fact that you’ll have access to better gear. There are three ways you’ll be able to get better gear. The first way is through direct loot drops, especially off of the bosses. The bosses in the instances will drop much better gear than anything you’ll find while questing on your own.

The second way you’ll be able to get better gear is through rewards from instance quests. The rewards from instance quests will be much higher quality gear than any of the rewards that come from solo quests. The third way of acquiring better gear through instance leveling is a little iffy, at least in terms of the items you end up with. Every time you complete an instance, you’ll earn a bag of goodies at the end. There will always be a piece of blue gear in the bag, but that piece of gear won’t always benefit you. It may be for a different spec than your character, or it may be one you already have. However, it is still very helpful to have those bags of gear from instance leveling. Besides, even if the gear doesn’t help you, you can always disenchant it and sell the enchanting materials or sell the gear to a vendor. Either way, you end up with more gold than you had before.

Less Down Time

Instance leveling also involves much less down time than solo questing always did. Sure, you’ll die sometimes, especially if you play one of the squishier classes, but if you’re the only death in the group, then the healer will be able to resurrect you. If the healer dies, then some of the other classes do have resurrection powers also, so it means you probably won’t have to run back and get your corpse. This aspect is a huge time saver.

There are also a lot more mobs packed into an instance than there are out in the solo areas. On average, you’ll be able to get more kills per second when you’re in an instance because there are more monsters in a smaller area. Being in a group of five people ensures that you’re able to handle these larger mobs of creatures. More time spent killing means more experience and levels that come a lot faster and easier.

More Fun

When you started playing World of Warcraft, you may not have expected the huge world that allows you to play with other people you’ve never met. But isn’t it a lot more fun to play things together? After all, you’ll be able to take down bosses that are a lot more interesting than the ones you’ll run across while questing alone.

Whether you’ve been playing World of Warcraft for years or you’re new to the game, you’ve probably noticed that instance leveling brings you levels a lot faster than solo questing. However, there are a few things you can do to level even faster, and one of the easiest ways to do it is by completing all of your instance quests.

Where to Find Instance Quests

Instance quests are usually located in the general vicinity of the entrance to each instance. They can also be found in nearby towns. The best way to make sure you have all of the instance quests you can get your hands on is to travel out to the area where the entrance to the instance is. Look at all available quests and pick up the ones that reference an instance. This is much easier to do when it’s very clear what part of WoW you should be leveling in. However, it gets a little bit trickier when it comes to figuring out where to go next.

Instance Leveling Guides

Of course wandering around and trying to find all of the instance quests can be quite a chore, especially in the lower levels when the levels are flying by so fast that one or two instances will cause you to ding a couple of times. This is why it’s not a bad idea to purchase an instance leveling guide like Dugi’s Dungeon Leveling Guide. The guide will tell you where to pick up instance quests and any other quests that are a prerequisite for those instance quests. This will save you a whole lot of wandering around.

An instance leveling guide will also tell you which part of WoW to play next. There are so many different parts of the game that it can be confusing figuring out which area is the right one for your character to level in. In fact, instance leveling can make power leveling go by so quickly that you see very little of any parts of the game that are outside of instances. Having an instance leveling guide will help keep you on track so you always know where you need to be for each level.

Ask Party Members to Share their Quests

Another way to grab the instance quests for the dungeon you are in is to ask your party members. They can share any of their quests with you, although you will only be able to accept them if there are no prerequisite quests or if you have completed the prerequisite quests. Some players will automatically share their quests, while others may need to be reminded, but if a quest pops up in the middle of an instance, you’ll probably want to click “accept” because most likely it is a quest for the instance you are in.

You can also help out your fellow party members by sharing any instance quests you have. This is a very courteous gesture that all of the other party members will appreciate.

So you’ve probably heard that instance leveling is the best and fastest way to level your World of Warcraft characters, but you could be missing out an important part of that speed. Instance quests are a great way to add on the experience you earn and help you level your toons even faster than instance leveling alone.

The Benefits of Instance Quests

Every time you complete a quest, you get experience, in addition to possible gear or other bonuses. However, instance quests will give you twice the experience of solo quests, which means you only have to complete two instance quests to get the same amount of experience you’ll get from four solo quests. This means that each and every level will go by faster than you can imagine.

Another reason instance quests are such an important part of power leveling is because you will have access to much better gear than you ever did while solo questing. The bosses in the instances drop rare blue items that are often best-in-slot for your specific level, and the rewards from the instance quests are also much better than those earned from solo quests. You will have a much higher quality of gear by completing instance quests than you will if you only do solo quests.

Instance quests are also much easier to complete than solo quests because you don’t have to do them alone. This aspect also makes them a lot more fun. Chances are, if you have other level 80 characters and are now leveling a new toon, then you’ll discover new quests that you just skipped over before because you had to have a group to complete them.

How to Find the Instance Quests

In most cases, instance quests will be available in the vicinity of the entrance to the instance. For example, when you reach level 60 and move out to Outlands, you should be able to find several quests that need to be completed inside of Hellfire Ramparts. Just start by looking around the towns that are near the entrance to Hellfire Ramparts. However, remember not to stray into towns held by the opposing faction. All instance quests that are available to you will be in a town that’s either contested territory or held by your faction.

One problem with just looking for the instance quests on your own is the fact that some of these quests have pre-requisite quests that must be completed before you can do the instance quests. This is where a good instance leveling guide, like Dugi’s Dungeon Leveling Guide, comes in. An instance leveling guide is the only kind that was made with instance leveling in mind, and it will steer you toward the pre-requisite quests you need before you can be eligible for the instance quests. Usually these pre-requisite quests are the only ones you really need to do outside of instances, unless you are a DPS and the queue for a dungeon group is excessively long.

Instance leveling is the quickest way to get to level 80, but did you know that doing your instance quests will get you there even faster? Instance quests are those that must be done inside of the instances throughout World of Warcraft. Most of them are available from quest givers outside the instances, although a few can be picked up inside of them. Many instance quests involve killing a specific boss inside a specific instance, although there are also a fair number that involve gathering certain items or doing certain actions inside of the instances. Here are five reasons every WoW player should do his instance quests.

Reason #1: More experience – Completing instance quests while you’re instance leveling is the perfect way to get some bonus experience. It’s sort of like a two for one deal because you get all the experience from killing creatures inside the instances, in addition to plenty of bonus experience from completing the instances quests associated with the dungeon you ran. Also, instance quests grant twice as much experience as solo quests, so completing two instance quests is like completing four solo quests.

Reason #2: Better gear – Of course instance leveling itself will give you more chances at better gear because the bosses drop better gear than anything that’s out in the solo world. However, the gear you get as a reward for completing instance quests is much better than the gear you get for completing solo quests. This means two have two chances to get a gear upgrade every time you run an instance. Additionally, if you run a random instance instead of queuing for a specific one, you have a third chance at getting better gear because you will get a bag of helpful items after you complete the instance.

Reason #3: More fun – Instance leveling gives you a chance to explore parts of the game you never did before. The instance quests used to be the ones that WoW players purposely skipped over because they required finding a group to complete them. However, the dungeon finder takes all the guesswork out of finding an appropriate group, no matter what time of day it is. This makes all those instance quests a whole lot easier and more fun than they were before. After all, isn’t it more fun to interact with other players and get the chance to take down some unique creatures to complete the quests?

Reason #4: Convenience – The fourth reason is simply a matter of convenience. Since you’re already planning on instance leveling anyway, it certainly makes more sense to complete the instance quests. Since you’re already planning on running instances, why not double how much you can get done in the same amount of time?

Of course completing instance quests may mean a little bit of time seeking the quests out, and having a good instance leveling guide can take some of the guesswork out of finding them. Besides, you can always queue for a dungeon while you’re traveling to pick up the instance quests to save some more time.

The new way to power level your World of Warcraft characters is by instance leveling, which pretty much means all the old leveling guides are obsolete. Thankfully, there are now some good instance leveling guides available, like Dugi’s Dungeon Leveling Guide. Let’s take a closer look at the major differences between traditional WoW leveling guides and the new instance leveling guide.

Levels 1-16

You can’t even use the new dungeon finder tool until your toon reaches level 15, which means the first 15 levels have to be done the traditional way: through quests and experience from killing monsters. This means that your instance leveling guide will look much the same as traditional guides in the beginning, but that will all change when you reach level 16. The reason a good instance leveling guide recommends that you wait until level 16 to begin instance leveling is because you only train your new skills on the even levels. This means it is really more convenient to wait until you train your level 16 skills, and then begin instance leveling with the dungeon finder.

Complete List of Instance Quests

Once you reach level 16, a good instance leveling guide will have a complete layout of all the instance quests. The easiest way to maximize the experience you gain from all of those instance runs is to complete the quests that are available for each instance. Instance quests give you more experience and better gear bonuses than any of the solo quests, so Blizzard has certainly made it worth your while to complete the instance quests.

The biggest problem with completing instance quests is that you simply don’t know where to pick them up. Even the most experienced WoW players may queue for a random instance and end up somewhere they’ve never been before, especially if they’ve never used instance leveling to level a character. This is why a good list of instance quests for each dungeon is an important tool for the power leveler.

The Best of Both Worlds

Another important feature of a good instance leveling guide is a listing of the pre-requisite quests. All characters need to complete certain quests before they are eligible for specific instance quests. Dugi’s Dungeon Leveling Guide will make sure you spend your downtime completing pre-requisite quests instead of wasting your time on other quests that have nothing to do with instance leveling.

Instance Maps

When Blizzard originally set up the classic and Burning Crusade dungeons, they didn’t plan on those instances being played very much, and so, consequently, they didn’t create maps for them. This can make it very difficult to complete the older instances, especially if you have never been in them and have no idea where you’re going. This is compounded by the fact that those older dungeons tend to be very long and full of winding passages that seem to go nowhere. Instance leveling guides like Dugi’s Dungeon Leveling guide include complete maps for all of the older instances, making a run through them pure joy and very simple.

Instance leveling is the latest trend for World of Warcarft players wanting to take their characters from level 1 to 80 in the shortest amount of time. Many players are now watching each and every level just fly by, often leveling at least once or twice in just one instance. Never before has it been so easy to find a group, and WoW players are eating up the experience like it’s going out of style.

The History of Instance Leveling

Instance leveling is a rather new phenomenon. It came about with patch 3.3 in the Wrath of the Lich King expansion. Before the dungeon finder existed, players had to search for groups themselves, which can be very difficult if you don’t have a lot of friends with toons that are about the same level as yours. The old method of finding groups was made even more difficult by the fact that it was limited to your own server. Thankfully, the dungeon finder changed all that.

How to Use the Dungeon Finder

Using the dungeon finder to find groups for instance leveling makes it very easy to experience the group portions of the game. You can find groups even during your server’s off times because the finder brings together WoW players from all of the servers in your server group.

To use the dungeon finder, just click on the “Looking for Group” button on the bottom of your interface. It looks a lot like a large green eye. You’ll have to select a role and then go. If you’re a DPS class, you may find that the wait is quite long. This is why it’s best to complete some solo quests while you’re waiting for your instance to come up. Just make sure you’re not away from your keyboard when the instance pops up because it will kick you out if you don’t click “accept” within 30 seconds of the instance becoming available. There’s nothing more annoying than waiting for 20 minutes for an instance and then being kicked out of the queue because you were AFK for a moment.

Instance Leveling Guides

Whether you’re planning to complete solo quests or not, it’s not a bad idea to have an instance leveling guide to help you. Instance leveling guides like Dugi’s Dungeon Leveling Guide will tell you which solo quests to do in order for your toon to become eligible for the quests that can be done inside of the instances. The time you spend waiting for your instance to become available is the perfect time to do these prerequisite solo quests. Of course tanks won’t have much of a wait time when it comes to instance leveling, so they may want to carve out some time to complete these prerequisite quests separately. On the other hand, tanks can get into instances so quickly sometimes that they may not want to do the prerequisite quests. However, it’s important to remember that there are plenty of bonuses for completing instance quests, so it may be worth the extra time to make sure all the prerequisite quests are completed.

World of Warcraft is constantly changing, and one of the biggest changes to occur was the addition of the dungeon finder. Instance leveling has since taken over as the fastest way to power level your character. Level by level, instance leveling simply gets you more experience in a shorter amount of time. Let’s take a closer look at the reasons instance leveling is the fastest way.

More Kills = More Experience

The reason so much experience is packed into just one instance run is because you have a lot less down time. Five people can take on a mob of four or five creatures per minute. That’s compared to solo questing, in which you, by yourself, could probably only take on one or two creatures per minute. When you’re instance leveling with a group, you get experience for each kill, even if you didn’t actually damage the monster.

If you end up in a good group for instance leveling, then you probably will also spend a lot less time being dead and running back to get your body. It is much easier to kill monsters in a group of five people because someone is always watching your back. Of course this part of the extra experience depends entirely on what kind of group you get, but it’s pretty rare that a group is so bad that you’re not getting more experience than you would solo questing on your own.

More Kills = More WoW Gold

Another reason instance leveling is the best way to power level is because you will have access to a lot more gold. More kills means that more gold will drop, along with more trash that can be sold to a vendor for more gold. The bottom line is, the more kills you can pack into a minute, the more gold you’ll be able to get.

Another aspect of the gold game in World of Warcraft is the problem of leveling your character beyond your gold means. Some of the traditional leveling guides have you power leveling so fast that you just aren’t earning enough gold to stay current with your gear and level your professions. However, the good news about instance leveling guides like Dugi’s Dungeon Leveling Guide is the fact that you can farm for gold at the same time you’re leveling. There’s no need to seek out any special areas to farm certain things because those things will drop often enough in the instances.

More Kills = More Materials for Professions

Overall, instances have better loot drops, both for gear and for other profession items like cloth and various materials. Although you will have to level your gathering professions outside of the instances, instance leveling should provide you with plenty of materials to cover the crafting professions. This will greatly cut down on the amount of gold you spend to level your professions, in addition to helping you earn more gold.

Instance quests are an important part of instance leveling on World of Warcraft, and it is entirely too easy to forget about them. Just about all of the instances in the game of WoW will have quests that can be completed inside of them, so why not double your effort and get several things done while you’re soaking up all that experience from instance leveling?

Grabbing Up the Instance Quests

One of the most effective ways to use your time while instance leveling on WoW is to queue for random instances while you are traveling from play to place to collect your instance quests. DPS classes will be able to gather up a lot of the instances quests this way and still get to enjoy all the benefits of instance leveling, although healers and tanks may need to set aside some time to travel around and pick up the quests.

With the exception of a few instances that only have quests that for either Horde or Alliance, there are generally quests for the instances you end up in. The best way to go about collecting your instance quests is to figure out which instances you are likely to pull first through the dungeon finder, and then head off in the direction of the entrances to those instances. In most cases, you will find the quest givers for the instance quests in the cities that are nearby the instance. However, in some cases you will need to complete some prerequisite quests before you will be eligible to pick up the instance quests. This is why having a good instance leveling guide like Dugi’s Dungeon Leveling Guide is really a great idea.

Share and Share Alike

If you land in an instance before you had time to go pick up the quests for it, you can always ask your other party members to share the quests with you. In general many of the instance quests are shareable, except for the ones that have prerequisite quests you have not completed yet. Many players will automatically share their quests for the instance you are in, and others will share the quests if you only ask. By the same token, make sure that you share your quests for the instance with your party members. This is a common courtesy that will make the entire instance leveling experience even better for everyone.

Instance Quests: Content that’s Almost Brand New

Many World of Warcraft players who’ve been playing for years have never experienced the loer level dungeons, which means instance leveling has opened up a whole new area of content for them. That being said, they probably have not completed the instance quests, either. This means that leveling a character is now like playing entirely new content instead of repeating the same old quests over and over again.

Even players who have not been playing WoW for a long time will appreciate the many benefits from instance quests, which include better gear and more experience than solo quests.

Do you ever wonder how some players seem to earn three, four, or more levels per day while leveling their characters on World of Warcraft? Of course the answer lies in instance leveling with the dungeon finder, but the answer probably doesn’t stop there. It’s quite likely that these players have discovered the benefits of instance quests.

Instance Quests: Not to be Skipped Anymore

Players who have leveled on their own in the past know that the instance quests are always the most difficult. Not only do you have to find four other plays to group up with, but the quests themselves are just too difficult to do alone. Most solo levelers just got into the habit of skilling the quests that are located inside of instances because they either didn’t have enough people to run the instances or because the quests themselves were just too hard. However, the dungeon finder solves both of these problems by uniting players across several servers. It means you can queue for an instance at any time of day, even when it’s not during your server’s peak time.

The dungeon finder also takes all the guesswork out of putting your own group together. It forces you to have one tank, one healer, and three DPS. This is the perfect formula, and when you have several levels of toons all playing together, then you’re sure to get a group that’s varied enough to make doing the quests a lot easier.

Why Run Instance Quests?

Sure, instance leveling by itself will get you to level 80 faster than solo leveling, but completing the quests inside the instances gives you even more experience. You get experience every time you complete a quest, and Blizzard made the instance quests more difficult by design. They also upped the amount of experience you get from completing a dungeon quest. The amount of experience earned from an instance quest is twice the amount earned from a similar quest outside of the instances because of how much more difficult it is.

Another reason to snap up all the quests for all the instances you run is the bonuses. The gear you get from completing the quests that are located inside the instances is far better than anything you will get from completing solo quests.

Instance Quests are Easier than they Sound

Of course all this time we’ve been talking about how much more difficult the dungeon quests are, but on some levels, that actually may not be true. In some cases you will get a group that just can’t complete an instance, let alone the quests inside of it, but in others, you’ll luck out and get a toon that’s at the upper edge of the level range for the instance you’re in. This will make doing the quests inside the instance a whole lot easier. After all, isn’t it easier to do the difficult quests with the help of four other people?
